We are never too old to learn.   Look at me! New Weebly Website!  I sincerely hope to get this up and running as soon as possible.

I am looking forward to a great year.  I have wonderful children which makes all the difference.

A bit about me.....I have taught 30+ years.  Right out of college, I taught Head Start for 8 years in Cache Valley, Utah.  After that I left teaching for a few years, but returned to teach in Utah, Arizona, Oregon,Idaho, and back to Utah.  I have had my own classroom in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and now 4th grades.

I have five birth children and four step children.  I have 21 grandchildren.  My husband died of a massive heartattack seven years ago.

Now down to business!!!


*****I will allow the children to correct their daily work which scores lower that 80%.  However, that will require parents to help.  If I have graded a paper, I do not have time to grade it again.  Therefore, I will allow the children to bring low papers home and correct them with your help.  You must sign that you helped and checked the corrections or I will not change the grade.  Often the one on one help will clear up any confusion or help focus them.  Reading directions is essential also.  It is a "life skill".  Thank you for your help!
